The holidays are fast approaching and we wanted to make sure any material and/or delivery “surprises” are held to a minimum!
Chinese New Year (CNY) is right around the corner and as we all know, these holidays can have a large impact on manufacturing in China and Taiwan, which draws-out lead times. THIS WEEK (11-12-2018 – 11-16-2018) is the last opportunity to order and receive shipment BEFORE the CNY!
Official CNY holiday dates are: 2-02-2019 thru 2-10-2019. Our factories (China & Taiwan) will be closed 1-30-2019 thru 2-13-2019.
If your customer has a HOT requirement, the order needs to go in THIS WEEK!
As we get closer to years end, lead times will continue to stretch out and it is very important to plan your inventory needs with this in mind. YS Tech USA is traditionally closed between Christmas and the New Year holiday so all orders and shipments out of California need to be scheduled prior to this. YS Tech USA’s last shipping day of 2018 is December 21st! And will resume shipments on January 2th, 2016. For CNY, the factory last shipping day is January 29th and will resume on Feb 13th.
Our current lead times are 12 weeks for China builds and 20 weeks for Taiwan builds. These lead times tend to increase after CNY and will most likely increase by TWO weeks. As always, we are doing all we can to secure materials so as to make this transition as smooth as possible.
