What Is an Industrial Blower?
Industrial blowers provide large volumes of airflow for heating, cooling and drying and to provide exhaust for the removal of dust, fumes and other airborne contaminants. They are typically powered by motors and provide flow through ducts, equipment or anywhere else airflow is needed.
Industrial blowers are used for range of applications including:

Types of Industrial Blowers
There are several types of industrial blowers but two of the most commonly used types include centrifugal blowers and power displacement blowers.
Centrifugal Blowers
These industrial blowers utilize an electric or drive motor and high-speed impellers to move and circulate air. The blades of a centrifugal blower are configured in either a radial or curved position and positioned at a right angle to impart air movement and increase pressure. Centrifugal blowers provide constant movement and operate at variable speeds to allow for flow adjustment. They are commonly used in ventilation systems for air, gas and pollutants.
Positive Displacement Blowers
This type of industrial blower is powered by an electric motor and use mechanical energy to increase pressure and velocity. This pressure causes a buildup of trapped gas or air, when is then released and forced through a duct. Positive displacement blowers provide constant, high-volume airflow and are commonly used in vacuum and exhaust systems.
